01. The Brief
Ruth Lee, a renowned provider of realistic manikins and training aids for rescue training experts worldwide, experienced a surge in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. While their core customers, such as Fire & Rescue Services and Paramedics, continued to rely on their products, there was also an increased interest from health and care professionals, including the NHS, care homes, and first aid trainers.
Understanding the impact of COVID-19 on realistic training scenarios, Ruth Lee quickly recognised that this was an opportunity to convince professionals to switch from using colleagues or volunteers to their own manikins.

02. The Solution
To achieve these objectives, we developed a targeted marketing and communications strategy aligned with the overall business plans.
Through research and insights gathered from key stakeholders, we identified specific needs:
- Developed key messages and calls to action dependent on the audience profiles
- Develop the creative to resonate with the targeted audiences
- Planned a targeted approach dependent on demographics identified or shared from research
- Delivered the communications strategy across the regions identified

03. The Results
Our communication strategy was implemented across the identified regions, utilising social media platforms, LinkedIn ads, and other online channels. We also created compelling videos featuring case studies from healthcare trainers to showcase the benefits of Ruth Lee manikins. Additionally, we ran paid social media campaigns, placed advertisements in reputable national journals, and developed interactive brochures and display systems.
Furthermore, we provided sales staff with presentations and a toolkit to support their marketing efforts. We even managed a marketing campaign in Canada to bolster the presence of one of Ruth Lee’s distributors. The results of our campaign were highly positive, leading to a significant increase in website inquiries and incoming calls for Ruth Lee. This success translated into further growth within the healthcare sector, both in the UK and globally.
In 2022, Ruth Lee commissiones Creativeworld Health with the development of their new website and microsites for all their distributors, solidifying our successful partnership.
